For the first year the Cultural Association for Equality Artists, through F Area Chamber and with the support of Master in Theory and Practice of Arts Contemporary plastic UCM (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) , announces the First Edition of the International Art Competition Mimetic, whose goal is the international promotion of artists and the spread of artistic culture.

The physical framework of meeting of this first event will be the Area F Sala de Madrid (Spain).

1. PARTICIPANTS:

artists can participate worldwide, regardless of age.

2. METHODS:

For this 2010 edition provides a single form: painting.

3. AUTHOR:

All participants must be original works, will not infringe rights of third parties and have not been awarded other awards or competitions. The works will be signed on the front and visible (with the canvas horizontally at 12 cm. The far right) with the artistic signature of its author / s. On the back of each work shall adhere photocopy of identity card or passport of the author / a.

All works, even the winners, shall remain the property of its author / s, giving them rights to reproduction in the catalog to edit.

4. REQUIREMENTS WORK:

Entries must meet the following requirements: themes, styles and aesthetic developments are free.

The works should be carried out on the canvas surface. Being presented without any protection and without framing. With rigid frame format scrim 40 F, 100 x 81 cm.

5. TERM:

first shipment will be made consisting of a photograph of the work to be presented (in JPEG format with a quality no less than 10 megapixel-size: 3872 x 2592 -). The term of this first shipment, 27 end June 2010.

The physical presentation of the works, for having been selected by the jury to form part of the exhibition will be held from 8 to July 22, 2010, between 10 and 13 hours. Entries not received during this period will not be allowed to take part in the exhibition.

6. SHIPPING AND REGISTRATION:

The works should be sent by transport agency (preferably), by post or personally to: I Mimetic Art Competition. Exhibition Hall. UCM Faculty of Fine Arts Street Greco, No. 2, Ciudad Universitaria, 28040,, Madrid (Spain) . On the back of each work, along with a photocopy of identity card or passport, attach a form as is attached to the end of these bases.

Shipping and recovery works at the above address will be paid by the participants as well as insurance for their transport. We recommend using reusable packaging. Artists or Cultural Association for Equality or any of its members be liable for any loss, loss or damage of works for reasons of shipping or handling subsequent return to origin or any other casualty for any reason. Under no circumstances may submit a claim to the Association Cultural Artists for Equality for possible losses or damages that may arise. Participants who wish to participate receipt must show a duplicate of the registration form that will be sealed.

7. FAULT:

The Jury shall consist of a minimum of 3 experts (*) and a maximum of 7, a distinguished record, assisted by a representative of the Association.

Jury members may not submit work in this contest. The awards will be selected unanimously in response to criteria of quality, originality and creativity as well as positively valued the works whose subject matter message or contribute to the promotion of intercultural values, charitable, social, educational, or that seek to improve the quality of life of people.

The ruling was made public after 27 June in the blog of the Artists Association for Equality ( http://icertameninternacionaldeartemimetico.blogspot.com/ ) and then be sent to authors as winners / as through e-mail. It was also disseminated to interested media.

The Jury's decision is final and can not be challenged or subjected to any kind of action by any person or entity.

(*) Persons related to the world of fine arts, as artists, art critics, gallery owners and people with proven artistic experience, which was made public after June 27, 2010.

8. AWARDS:

CATALOGUE OF EVENT: all awarded and selected works will be included in the catalog of the competition.

All / as the / the selected artists to be part of the exhibition will be presented with DIPLOMA-CERTIFICATE registering its participation in the I Mimetic Art Competition.

The awards will be declared void by decision of the jury. Prizes can be shared if the jury deemed appropriate. A jury trial may be granted special awards.

9. STATEMENT OF WINNING AND SELECTED WORKS:

Area Chamber will host a group exhibition from September 2 to September 27, 2010, with the winning works (including runners) and selected works. The winning works will be published on the blog of the Association, in a collective virtual exhibition, being able to map the name of the author, title, technique and dimensions of each work, as well as your e-mail and website , if any. The author / award-winning ace / ace and selected with pledge to allow the Association for Equality Artists Cultural reproduction, public communication and distribution of their works by any means, printed or audio-visual, including computer and Internet.

10. INFO:

The Association shall ensure the proper dissemination of the event in the media. 11. RECOVERY OF WORKS:

Cultural Association will not pay back any expenses works or refund requests will attend the dates set out in these rules. The winning works and awards that have not been selected for exhibition in Hall Area F may be withdrawn at the same exhibit hall on September 27, 2010, after that date, the works that have not been collected is considered a donation to such institutions to be part of their fund-Cultural Art, or to it collects resources to use in cultural activities and social non-profit, as laid down its bylaws, and may not be claimed. The

sent by courier will be returned to its author / s, running them / as the cost of the return.

IMPORTANT: The repayment terms can not be extended and no refund requests will be accepted after the deadline.

12. ACCEPTANCE OF RULES:

All the participants, for the mere act of participating, they accept the contents of these rules. Any doubt about the interpretation of these rules will be determined unilaterally by the Cultural Association of Artists for Equality is final.

13. LANGUAGE:

These bases may be translated into other languages, but will only be bound by the written in Castilian.
